Roma Football Club was founded in July 2006. After watching the world cup final won by Italy The Gaffer and family decided to form a team and call it Roma. We started off with Enzo, Giulio, Ozzie and David thats it!! We started asking around and by the time the pre season training started we had 30 players....actually no we had 30 young and not so young men who THOUGHT they could play football.

Luckily the gaffer who had just resigned from Barcalona knew what he was doing and soon turned these renegades into footballers, well almost. We battled on for the first season and finished in a respectable position in Junior two of the LKB league. The following season we improved and actually to our amazment we finished runners up in Junior one division. We have got stronger as a club and hope to keep improving. This year we have been promoted again to the next division up so things will be tougher but i am confident that we will do even better
